We're afraid not. We are a computer museum and not a repair service, sorry!
a) We're volunteer run. Only a small handful of our volunteers have the expertise to repair items.
b) The volunteers who can repair items have a backlog of items to repair for the museum, so they simply don't have the time
c) Our insurance doesn't cover the repair of items for the public
We'd recommend finding a specialist repairer. There are some repair companies who specialise in retro, or in a particular type of retro device. We've listed a few below.
Electronic Services (Derby)
There are some great user groups on Facebook and other platforms with lots of knowledgeable people who may be able to offer advice, solutions, or put you in touch with someone who may offer repairs.
