Commodore 64

The Commodore 64 was a very successful home computer in both it's home country of the USA and in Europe. It was a powerful machine for its price, made possible by the fact that Commodore owned the microchip manufacturer MOS Technology, and so could buy in parts more cheaply than competitors. Graphics and sound are very good, making the C64 well suited for games, and the mechanical keyboard makes it also suitable for other applications.
