I remember in the early 90s the thought of a laptop. It blew my mind! An entire computer in something you could put on your lap! WOW! We're really lucky these days that laptops, tablets and smartphones are so easily accessible to make computing availble everywhere. But only 2 or 3 decades ago this was a thing of fantasy. Early laptops were, well, not that great as you would have to endure far larger compromise as you would have to these days for going portable. That included inverted monochrome screens, perhaps half an hour battery life, a large and bulky laptop and a power adapter heavier than your cat. |
