Phones like we have today were just a fantasy only a short while ago. In order to get to the point where we are today with devices like the iPhone, Galaxy and Android devices many other devices built the foundations for today's technology. Devices such as the PSION organiser were pivotal in moving the world of computing from desktop to "palmtop" as it was known in the day; or as we would know it, in your back pocket! We believe this is a really important part of computing history. Whilst palmtops from the 80s and 90s really didn't serve a huge amount of practical use (at least in our opinion) as they were too limited in functionality, they paved the foundations to the modern smart phone and the world would be a very different place without them. |
